I'm a big fan of Lavina brand having already purchased a number of wrist watches. This is first time ever I've seen Lavina branded stopwatch for sale. I'm not entirely convinced though that the movement (unlike in Lavina wristwatches made in-house) was actually made by them. Why I say this is because during the WWII Lavina is known to have co-operated with Minerva (also at the time based in Villeret) well known for manufacturing among other things of stopwatches. I have not opened it thus far but I'm thinking something along the 7j movement whether or not specifically made by Lavina. The 50mm machine made case feels like s/s. Does anyone have any idea what movement is inside this stopwatch? How about bph or frequency? Cheers

I can't help - but great title. Think most of us know the exact feeling. Congrats on your find.
Thanks - pity or rather unfortunately it's not a Rolex Patek or Jaeger-LeCoultre :)
