It is no surprise to many of us WIS specially on the super affordable range to get a decent watch with a garbage strap, bracelet, nato, etc.

Sometimes, the strap is just as important as the specs of the watch. When a 'Meh' strap is paired with a good watch; the watch just does not live up to his MAX.
A few weeks ago, I order a a couple of straps from @Tenessean87. Last night I received a great surprised. He included an extra strap!

Not only his straps are just superbly well made; his straps are making a Trilogy very Complete thanks to his WIS-dom!

Post your best pairings!

I just got this beautiful strap from WatchGecko, the kudu leather contoured handmade.

I had a couple other WatchGecko straps that I’d tried to pair with the SARB033 but for one reason or another they just weren’t the right match. This one is perfect. It’s nice and thin so it’s more pliable and comfortable on wrist. But it’s not so thin that it feels flimsy. The color is a gorgeous natural brown that is just light enough to not clash with the black dial. The beige stitching gives it some nice contrast. It has a very nice feeling soft suede inner lining which is super comfortable. It’s perfect for taking the watch down a notch and going casual while still looking amazing.

I paid $56 for it (used code SARB for a 10% discount) and I think I’m finally done buying straps for this watch.

Hodinkee were right with SNKL23! I actually fitted the standard strap today just to see and by gosh it looked absolutely trash. Got this one from Amazon and it totally transformed the style.

Straps are hard to assess via pictures because so much of the quality comes through in the way the strap feels. Nevertheless, the first pic of the OS is on thw OEM and the second a cromexcel from Leather Arts Store on Etsy, of far better quality. Like it so much I have 2 more on order. The straps on the Kontiki and Legacy are high quality alligator and ostrich from Vingahandmade, two of three I have from them. In reality unless you get into super high end watches most original straps do pretty cheaply made.

My best strap so far, canvas strap custom made to fit the diver clasp the watch came with.

I didn’t think this combo would’ve worked but it does.

And another canvas.

A nice strap combo can make all the difference but most of my watches are on what could be termed “safe” OEM efforts so my collection is pretty ordinary to say the least.

I love it. Bertucci straps are really well made.... as long as you can fit them.... they are very thick!

Seiko 5 SNK809/656 mod on MKII Hawkinge brown leather strap. The strap came on another watch, but even though that watch left the mix, liked the strap on this watch so well, it stayed.

Momentum Atlas 38mm with Nick Mankey Hook Strap. The stock Ti bracelet was not available, so I bought it with cheapest option, black cordura 2pc. Not bad, but not creamsicle awesomeness.

Mostly, I wear.this NTH Amphion Commando on the stock bracelet, but when it gets a strap, it's this Erika's Original MN.

Have to give credit to the previous owner who did the leg work to pair these up. The strap was made for another Oris model.
