Hey there guys.

First of all I want to tell you that I'm new in the watches world. I want to buy for myself a vintage good looking watch which is in good quality too. After searching a lot I saw on a webpage this Hamilton below. I tried to find out which type is this and when was produced, but I've found nothing. So my question is, that this Hamilton is legit and in which year was produced? Because 40$ for a vintage Hamilton I think it's a little bit fishy. Thank you for your responses :)

Dial refinished a long time ago and looks to be a replacement case.

movement is from around the 1940's

Wouldn't buy it. Look for something closer to original. Even if dial is refinished (nicely). As long as movement is clean and case is 7/10 or better

The picture of the movement has the inside of the caseback next to it but we can't see much of it. What does the inside of that caseback say? The dial bears some resemblance to this Clinton. The case is more like the Nordon.
