Hi! for context: I have the unique oppurtunity to travel anywhere for pretty cheap. Since I was quoted about 600ish eur to service my sinn 203 st in my home country (Norway). I decided I would rather take a holiday and service my watch in one go, and it will probably run cheaper.

If anybody has a clue as to where the rates are cheap in Europe, I would be more than thankful for the advice!

How long are you going to be on holiday? Watch service isn't really a "next day" sort of affair. Larger service centers may have a months-long backlog. Even smaller shops might take weeks. I had a Seiko serviced by a local watchmaker and it took over a month.

Thank you! Probably around 470eur according to the document. Just at the cusp of being not worth it with the trip I reckon. Still hopefull that someone will pull through with a cheaper option. Maybe I should just bite the bullet, at least with Sinn I can rest easy that they will do a good job.

Here in the UK, not in London but further up north, a decent independent service will set you back ÂŁ200 - ÂŁ300.

Would also be worth checking that the any service you have undertaken abroad is like-for-like with the service you've been quoted in Norway.

Lovely watch, btw.
