Perhaps people who live in Vegas will have a different view, but mine is - don't buy that watch in Vegas. You will pay more money than if you buy it elsewhere. Vegas is superb at one thing - taking money from people as efficiently and effortlessly as possible. The watch boutiques I've seen there will almost certainly not have any great deals.

You're better off seeing the watch in person there, but buying it somewhere else. Maybe an A/D who will ship to you, or Ebay, etc.

This is true if you are looking at the tourist spots. I lived there for 8 years and moved away a couple years back. The Omega Boutique is in the Bellagio, but don't expect any deals. Tourneau is a dealer for Omega and has a huge store in the Caesar's forum shops. They may deal but I don't know. I never actually purchased from there. I've purchased from off strip dealers but mostly G Shock and Seiko. My only Omega purchase was online so I don't have any experience in that area.

 

"Horologio" inside The Venetian is the only Omega dealer I know in Vegas that will give a discount. Everyone else on the strip is full price (trust me, I've been to them all and have trolled them)

Off the top of my head, the Omega dealers are at, from North to South:
- Watches of Switzerland @ Wynn
- mini-Omega Boutique @ Wynn (new mall wing that has no customers and is kinda creepy)
- Horologio @ The Venetian
- Tourneau @ Caesar's Forum Shop
- Omega Boutique @ Bellagio
- Tourbillion Boutique @ Aria

Tourneau sucks donkey balls, but it's fun to go into to see the 3 stories of watches. Just don't get too creeped out when a salesman follows you throughout the store like a lost child.

 

Ha! That's really funny about the new mall at the Wynn. I was there a few months back and you're absolutely right. It was deserted. The boutique itself is fine, but no deals to be had. Full retail all the way.

I recommend Horologio. They offer some discounts and are always very nice. The sales staff is first class. I've made it clear that I have no intention of buying, and they still bend over backwards to show me everything. Worth the trip every time i'm In Vegas.

I will take a look. I really like divers like the omega, i like the submariner too but its too expensive for my unless i hit the 13 at roulette 😅

Even a hit on 13 won't get you there. Plan on several in a row, compounded.

 

I would shop carefully as Vegas can eat your bank card alive.......

 

As most have noted already, great place to try lots of watches on. Bad place to score many discounts on Omega.

When you arrive there I would pull up google maps and try to find an AD at least an hour away from the Strip. You may find a better deal this way

 

Bad advice. Vegas outside the strip is pretty ghetto and dangerous, especially for a foreigner

I recommend you visit the Caesar’s Palace mall (forgot what’s it’s called)...anyway, it’s like Mecca for a watch enthusiast. So many awesome brand boutiques and stores. Just browse. Plan to take 3-4 hours to just window shop. None of it will be affordable, but it’s fun to look and maybe try on a few things. Keep in mind Vegas is a tourist trap and you will pay tourist prices for everything. No bargains to be had anywhere.

Good call, I didn't even mention the rest of the watch shops since it was about Omega, but you're right there's a wealth of watch shops at the Caesars Forum shops. Rolex, Breitling, Panerai and at least a few other factory stores I'm not thinking of right now. I can't think of a better indoor walk in Las Vegas than the forums. Plenty of places to drink and eat without the desert heat to contend with.

 

The only place I've looked seriously in Las Vegas is at the giant Tourneau store in the Caesar's forum shops. I almost pulled the trigger on an essentially new deep discounted returned watch - Check them out!

 

I've lived here 45 years, and bought a grand total of 1 watch here(Valentine's gift for wife). Even my Seikos are purchased online.

If you know what you want, maybe check with some of the forum sponsors & see if they can send it to you while you're here.

I've bought from Govberg several times, and they send everything via Fedex overnight.

Lots of great places to look, though.

 

I haven't personally tried this but it should work

Step 1 : Go to Vegas
Step 2 : Visit all the boutiques for watches you are interested in and try on everything and narrow down the choice
Step 3 : Call a forum sponsor
Step 4 : Get watch shipped to concierge overnight
Step 5 : Pick up package once received
Step 6 : Rejoice!

Before or immediately after Step 1 make sure you call the hotel you are staying at and get instructions on getting packages shipped to them.

However if you MUST buy it in person for the full experience and want to associate the watch with the trip, then some of the previous recommendations are good. Just don't expect great pricing and be ready to pay retail or very close to it.

 

That is a good advice. I will check about the forum sponsors i've never bought something from the forum. I just bought on ebay or amazon and send the watch to a Friend that travel to usa but watches under 500k. For a watch about 3000usd i would like to see it in person if it is possible.
Prices in argentina are twice or three times more for a new one.
