Hello guys,

I am a big Lange fan and are very interested in the history of the brand before 1945.

As I understand Lange produced mainly pocket watches, but also some wristwatches, like the Bauhaus model.

Unfortunatelly I cant find any detailed info on the internet about the Lange wristwatches prior to 1945. (Except the B Uhr).

Any suggestiins where to find out more?
Or any information about specific wristwatch models?

It's in german language but quite easy to guide with the translator through the very clear structurated Webside of Mr. Donner: https://www.glashuetteuhren.de/die-uhrenfabriken/a-lange-soehne/ if you go on this side: https://www.glashuetteuhren.de/die-uhrenfabriken/a-lange-soehne/modellkataloge-1886-1937/ to the last catalog: "Werbekatalog der Firma aus der Mitte der 1930er Jahre." you'll find some wrist watches at the end.

Regards Silke
Thank you!
I speak German, daher kein Problem ;)
There is also an article on the site about Lange wristwatches:

I must say its very impressive to see the pre 1945 Lange wristwatches and how different they were from the current ones.
Espacially the font of the numerals.

I found this picture on the internet. It says its a officer fueld watch, not sure about that, but the style is the same.
The numerals remind me of the numerals of the Stowa partitio.
