I'm in love with both watches, but the refinement and looks of the Breguet is just exquisite. They both cost relatively the same, but know the resale value of the Skydweller will be higher...what do you guys think?

If the Rolex didn't have the fluted bezel and cyclops this would be a little tougher for me... but as it is, the Breguet is clearly the winner. The complication of the Rolex is great, but it seems to "standard" for Rolex and could use a bit of uniqueness.

Good points...I'm also thinking the Breguet would probably make for a better heirloom...I've already got a Rolex gmt and an explorer, but the Breguet is more of a work of art.

Vote for Breguet just because it looks more unique.

What should I have for lunch, a hard boiled egg or squid ink pasta with bottarga?

Having provided no background whatsoever, your question amounts to nothing more than "which watch do you random anonymous internet people like better?" If that's what you are interested to know, my answer is the Breguet. If you want to know something else, you're not going to get it in this thread unless you provide more background on yourself and why you would be pitting two completely unrelated watches (other than price) against each other.

Definitely go egg. But if calories are no object, why not spring for both?

Breguet... Évidemment !
Since you have other rolexes you should not be worried, yet this Breguet is a conversation piece [emoji108]

I own 2 Rolexes, but have looked at Breguets for a while now.

Rolex makes a superb watch, but Breguet's attention to detail is incredible. The quality is on another level.

When it comes to resale, yes, the Rolex will be significantly better. However, that shouldn't be why you purchase the watch.

Personal advice: Go with the Breguet, but buy it used so you don't feel the hurt of the resale. Now you win both ways. :)
