Blue gator. Genuine gator. Not genuinely blue.

None of the above: they all take the eye away from the watch
In the second two it’s the big stitches
And the swirly texture of the croc clashes with the amazing engraving on the bezel


I’d go really simple: a black or brown strap with a subtle texture eg pigskin (first two) or buffalo grain(right)

Trust me, the watch will shine

Agreed that a rich brown strap would compliment the sandy color dial and elevate the elegance of the watch. Where I disagree is alligator (a modern hide) as that would have never gone on a watch of that vintage.
