I received my early Christmas present last night :). It is a unique piece and the case is wonderful. The silver hand is clear and visible at all angles and in different lighting conditions.
Congratulations!
At first I didn't recognize my picture you were quoting and then realized that we do have quite similar watches :)

Hi all,

Just received this morning, photo won't show how gorgeous this piece reflects lighting and the detail of handwork. Perfect for my 16.5cm wrist.

I received my 25th Anniversary Schauer Edition 10 Handwound a couple of weeks ago. Looks better and better as time goes by. Thanks Jorg. Not great photo's but it's a bit dark here and I'm using artificial ambient light!

By the way, Nina (and Sandra) looked after me fantastically throughout the process. Top class, personal service.

You beat me to it, SGB, as I was going to mention that the Einzeiger is not the only 25th Anniversary model.

Like you, I opted for the hand-wound Chronograph Kulisse Edition 10 with custom engraving (another good surprise, not traditional engraving, but embossing - the background is removed and the "engraving" is now in "positive" rather than "negative" - see last picture).

No. 6 made it across the pond last Monday and has been on my wrist since (ending a 3+ week run of my Portuguese). I got a bit of a scare when I first saw the box, but all is well:

I can only second what you wrote about the personal service and customer care; Frau Sandra Rodriguez was extremely friendly and helpful, responded to each and every e-mail in a very timely fashion and kept me updated along the way.

Nice to see another Edition 10 Handwound in the 25th Anniversary release. I wonder how many they have sold? I didn't know it would have a new set of numbers when I ordered it and it was a nice surprise to be able to get No 2 (I assume No 1 will stay with Jorg). Equally I didn't know it would be a limited release of 100. If I had, I probably would have shown that on the bridge.

To my mind, getting the hand wound was a no brainer. Hand wounds always look so much better in a display back case than an automatic with a large rotor obstructing the view. It's also nice to have that relationship with the watch than grows every morning when you wind it up before putting it on.

It always amazes me how little there is on the web regarding Schauer and even fewer watches for sale. However, it just makes the watches all the more exclusive. And I love the idea Jorg may be reading my posts!!

I have the same and similar questions, SGB - I wonder how many 20th Anniversary models were produced. That edition was also limited to 100, but I don't know if all were indeed built (and sold). I' assuming that these watches are built as they have been ordered (maybe in small batches) and I wonder how long Herr Jörg et al will continue to build these? 2016 is no longer the Anniversary year, but he may continue to offer the Anniversary models.

I was bummed when I had missed the previous release and got the impression that the brand was being put on hold - fortunately not as evidenced by the watches we've just purchased and the post / comment from the man himself.
Which also answers your "question": Herr Jörg does read (y)our posts.

Nicolas. There's no denying these are thick watches. Perhaps too thick for the overall dimensions for some people. However, I like the rather unusual appearance this gives the watch which suits its very industrial look.

I think it's more a weekend watch. I have other watches to fit under my cuffs!
