Do folks really like “Tiffany blue” or is it merely a case of liking what it’s associated with… ahem… the crown?
Tiffany Blue has been in existence for a very long time. And it is the symbol of very high quality jewelry. Women dream (at least that's what my wife tells me) of getting their engagement ring in 'the little blue box.' Tiffany has created watch lines with several high-end brands. I know of Omega, AP, and Patek in addition to the Rolex models.

56 years and I've never heard of Tiffany Blue. But if above photos are any representation, I do find it pleasing. Especially Travis Morgan's Borealis.

If you think the Tiffany Rolexes are expensive, don't even look at the Pateks. I won't even mention the $2000 set of Tiffany Blue billiard balls...

This does not have to do with your other thread where your wife thinks a small seconds register looks “feminine” to her, does it? If so, maybe a Skagen Aaren Kulor Light Blue Silicone watch might do the trick.

Sorry, but Tiffany blue dials remind me of the boxes that Tiffany jewellery and ceramics come in. Rolex doesn't even warrant an afterthought, especially when other brands have used it. If I see a watch in a similar colour I usually like it. Also, some come across as more Wedgewood than Tiffany.

Generally I like the colour, but maybe a bit too in your face 🤔

I prefer the deeper blue dials.

I mean, it's Turquoise. Growing up in the southwest, I've always liked the appeal of some of the indigenous jewelry that used Turquoise.

So why not a watch dial?

The association with Tiffany the Jewler, doesn't bother me in as much as it's just impossible to obtain it seems.
