It seems that vintage pilot watch reissues are just as popular as diver reissues these days, yet when you compare the popularity of the Diver 65 to that of the big crown pointer date, the former seems hugely more popular. I like them equally, so I am curious to hear from the Diver 65 lovers how they feel about the pointer date.

I like the one with the inner date circle best, but it seems so unpopular that there are hardly any user photos on he web:

I think that a coin edge bezel looks nice if you want to wear it as jewelry. But as for a watch, it would look better with some other bezel. Just my 2 cents worth.

Coin-edge bezels are an historic design element of Pilots Watches, something Oris has experience with dating back to their first Big Crown of 1938.
