Hi all

This might be a stupid question, but I have a Seamaster 2254 my first auto watch, and I wear it every day except when Im asleep, the question is should I wind the watch up say once a month to keep things lubricated, I know it dosent need winding but I heard somewhere this should be done.

Glad you are enjoying your 2254. You should only need to wind your watch if it has been sitting and all the power has been exhausted. Before wearing it you should wind it; about 40 turns. Otherwise, just wearing it keeps the gears working so they stay lubricated and from seizing up.
