Hello,
I'm looking to get matching watches for my wife and myself. So far I have found some Seiko 5 models that have identical versions for men and women.

However, i really love the SARB035. Is there a women's version of this watch?

My wife's wrists are very small and 38mm would be way too big for her. Probably looking at max 32mm.

The Seiko 5 women's watches are all 24 or 25 mm which is a bit small, but better than too large.

Also, any other suggestions for matching set watches would be appreciated. Just need automatic and a bracelet.

Thanks,
Kyle

My wife expressed interest in my SARB035 (she mentioned a couple of times that it's her favorite watch of mine), so I got her an Seiko 5 to introduce her to mechanical watches and see how would she handle an automatic. My goal was: a relatively small size, stainless steel case, silver dial, automatic movement, date, possibility to change straps, and a Seiko logo. Got her a SYMA27 (but SYMK13 or SNKL75 both look like valid alternatives). It's still underway. This is how it looks:

I was in similar situation earlier this year. After she looked at many watches she decided upon a Deep Blue 34mm SeaPrincess quartz, the 25-28mm were just too small for her to easily read, especially with sunglasses. Fits he small wrists and frame really well and looks somewhat close to my 43.5mm Prospex Solar so she's happy.

Seiko does not make a shrunken version of the SARB035. Given the size of their standard automatic movements (6R/4R/7S), they can't make automatic models a whole lot smaller than that. I think the 4R powered womens Presage models are 34mm, which is as small as I've seen for current automatics.

The exception to this is the smaller Seiko 5's based on the 42 movement (SUA and SYM series), but they don't hack, and I'm pretty sure they are no longer in production, so anything you find now will be new old stock or pre-owned. There may be some quartz references that come close to that design.

You're ight MrDisco99, the SYM series runs a non-hacking 4207 movement with 24h power reserve (that's why a lot of amazon reviews say "watch stopped working after a day"). The advantage (for me) is the case size of 24-26mm and 12mm lug width. Creationwatches still has them NOS.
4R/7S movement watches have a case size of 35-37mm - watchsleuth is a good reference here.

This is not an automatic watch, but it looks somewhat similar to a shrunken down SARB035.
Seiko SUR633 (bonus that it has sapphire crystal unlike the Seiko 5 range)
