First, a message to those who emailed over the last two years, saying that big ceramic cases could only be made in Europe (what they don't know is that the blanks come from S. Korea and Japan, ours is from S. Korea):
HA!
Now to business. This is a production case, not a sample. Here are the differences:
Hands, of course. We don't have them yet so I used a set from the LM-6
No engraving on the titanium case back
Date ring will be white on black. I'm surprised that the number fell in the correct place. This date ring is for the date at 3:00. I guess the geometry worked out. The font is for a rectangular opening. That's why it doesn't quite fit.
Movement is a high quality Asian 2824 in this watch. Production watches will be Swiss made, using the ETA 2824 or Sellita SW200.
Lume is C3 grade A. It glows very well. I don't have a black lume dial yet, but that will be the second option offered.
The price will be $799 for the first 90 days or so.
I really like the look. The case is thin enough that it will easily fit under a cuff, and I think the dial looks great.
