My obsessional historical pictorial sequential confessional continues. September 2011, I found a '70s Sea-Gull on the 'Bay for cheap. I wondered if it was a Franken with ST5 movement in rare ST7 case. Apparently Sea-Gull re-used cases when they decided not to manufacture the overly complex ST7 movement, of which ~100 prototypes may exist. If this were an ST7, it would cost 50-100 times what I paid. I adore this funky old watch.
Rainy season here for another two weeks. We can still remember the sunny days, though. They'll be back in another couple of weeks. Back to the Grovana.
Grovana GMT today. A new watch is in the mail. Left NYC a week ago. A gift from my son. I asked for a watch connected to a story, like the moon, or 007. Can't wait to see what comes.
