It’s an incredibly beautiful in the California High Sierra Mountains. I think the recent rain reduced some of the mounds of snow, but there’s still a lot of it.

I may be difficult to tell, but the large mound of snow is mound of stacked snow from the parking lot. Lots off show was put in the back of semi truck trailers and shipped to Reno.

I purchased a Mido Multifort Patrimony a while back, brand new in the box, at a price of just a little more than half of list retail. Mido is a member of the Swatch group of watch Companies, and so it is able to use any of the ETA movements. In this case they used the ETA 2836-2 to very good effect. The 2836 normally displays both day and date, but in this watch they only show the date at 6 O'clock and in such a way that it does not interfere with the 6 numeral. The dark background of the date also works to make the date unobtrusive. I like the sector dial design they used. This watch is great value IMHO. Mido is under appreciated in my view.
