I thought Meranom simply made and sold some watches with dials leftover from the the Pripyat project? I don't recall seeing this version at Meranom and I don't think they had anything to do with this one.
The dial on the one I've got is different to the project one and - to me at least - looks closer to the clock in the pool hall (but see my comment below this photo):
I agree; the original project Pripyat is a much more coherent design whereas this looks like it's been knocked together in a hurry. That said; when I saw one for sale I jumped to get it.
To be fair , IMO, the design of the two models have merit of their own & I do like them both . I am very please with the SE IV & grateful to WUS member Victorv for his invaluable help in acquiring #065
