I'm trying to figure out when Omega ended using the " bent" S in Seamaster, and started using a normal "unbent" S. Unbent is now a word,cause i just made it one.:rolleyes:
Yours is a 1961,that helps. Anyone have any more info on this S issue?
Take a look at these 2 of mine. A small lower seconds with a normal S ,which a reasonable person would think is older than this other one of mine with the full centered second hand and a Bent S.

I think 1962 saw the last of the 'coat-hanger' S, don't remember where I read that, but obviously inventory carried over and there may not have been a clean cut off - my 1961 watch was first bought in March 1964, Gweru Zimbabwe.
