Vintage Breitling UK military Navy watch, The seller in the UK told me this, he got it from a WW1 military watch collector. This isn't WW1 as far as I can guess.
Looking at the caseback, the engraving may offer some additional clues.
If anyone is familiar with UK Military ensignias, and has any more info, I'd like to hear what they have to say.
What are you wearing to show us today?

Page 1! Just back today from my best buddy Ol ZJ's vintage watch repair guy. Full servicing, but not 100% as there might be something bent he was unable to find. Edolux with a 17 jewel Jeambrun Cal. 23D movement. Bought it at a vintage shop for $50. It's running, so far so good....

I love beige colored dials, and I really like this Stowa Marine Classic Roman with beige dial. I also like the way they used larger Roman numerals at the compass points. This suits a marine style watch. The hand wound top finish movement (SW215-1) winds butter smooth thanks in part to the large onion shaped crown. The watch is very thin (9mm) and light thanks to the very thin hand wound movement. The watch came on a blue leather strap that did not suit the dial IMO (do you hear me Stowa?), so I put it on a custom Delugs whiskey colored Chromexcel strap that really makes the beige dial pop.

Stowa is packing a lot of value into their watches for a very modest price IMHO. I am smitten with this one so far, and will probably be wearing and showing it until you are all sick of it.

My old pal, bought new in 1976. I've had this watch for over half my life. It was restored once while I am all (for the most part) original.

That's a nice one.great restoration! I have considered getting a newer one like yours. I like the bezel edge ,the hands ..it's all just different from my 60's models. What's the caseback look like?
