We’ve received over 14 feet of new snow in January alone. The snow is almost up to my window (Place is on a slope with ground floor garage below first level.). It was a balmy 8 degrees Fahrenheit this morning. Today they open the elusive Silverado (Operations Update: Silverado Opens Tomorrow - Palisades Tahoe at Lake Tahoe)
Love skiing there because it feels like backcountry off piste in Europe. However, very long and slow triple chair with everyone waiting at the entry gates for the opening bell; fun mayhem.
Fun to watch the extreme skier leap off the cliffs. I’m skipping that today to ski a few new lifts before heading to AD.
