No, we really don't do mountains. We do spectacular scenery, huge open spaces, token amounts of snow but you won't get a nosebleed climbing the heights. There's plenty of very rugged places to get lost but they don't involve acclimatisation.

From the top of 7300 foot Mount Kosciusko, it's only a two hour stroll along a raised boardwalk back to Thredbo Village and fine dining. Very civilised and my better half is very happy with that arrangement. I think survival huts are very cool but she always reckons they "smell funny".
