Yes it is. I had to edit my OP as I had the date wrong. This is a 1980 and I mistakenly typed in 1978. BTW (I have no real reason for posting this, but the thought often comes to me when talking Timex) I really do not like it when someone calls Timex "cheap." They may be inexpensive, but they are not cheap. "Cheap" to me connotes poor quality. That is just wrong. Look at how many Timex watches me and a few others constantly post that are 50 and 60 years old and still running strong. It's people like Old_Tractor and judg69 and others who appreciate the good ole vintage Timex mechanicals. Thanks guys for your likes and positive comments.

I can see why. Great looking watches. I missed out 3 or 4 years ago when you could find them for great prices.
