One of the EVERITE Sisters today from the late 1960s, left with movement Peseux cal. 7040, right with Peseux cal. 7066. Everite is a brand name of H. Samuel, Manchester, UK, both watches were made for them in Switzerland.
I think they had hardly been worn before I bought them a few years ago. There are little chips on the upper lugs of the one on the right which most likely came from changing the bands with the wrong tool.
The band on the left one is original and in superb state, which is very rare as the material usually decays over time even when left in the box, especially when of lesser quality.
I take the one without date, as the date shown on the other is too far away and would need endless winding and setting without a date-quickset.
The bands are both too short, so I will change to a larger one for today.
