Yesterday, I posted a picture of this watch, but the hands looked solid black. I knew they weren't but couldn't get a picture that showed them in detail. Today, thanks to the magic of flash photography--you can see that they are not solid black.
I've always really liked my Maratac Pilot, big, old style, but wow! I took the Super Engineer off my new Seiko and tried it here. It has found a home! Domed sapphire crystal, drilled lugs, accuracy, onion stem at four-thirty--if this had hacking it'd be almost perfect.
This MiLTAT Super Engineer type 2 is just perfect for this watch IHMO. I love the feel, the weight, and the look.
You have a wonderful Wednesday wherever, whenever, and whoever you are. Do be kind, it's a plus.
So I am continuing with the stepped lug debacle. Now the black version. On closer inspection, I find that I have no less than 3 of them, slightly different, though. In the process of owning these, among (a lot of) others, I've found that I'm really not much about black watch dials. This one gets worn very little, consequently, but today it gets its day.
