WTS: Chronoswiss Pacific Chronograph 43mm Ref. 7582-85-B, fell set, $1,600 PayPal'd and shipped in the CONUS.

I recently took this watch in trade and wore it for a couple of weeks. It got quite a few compliments and I really like the watch, but the downsizing of my collection must continue. Please, no trades at this time. I am sticking with just a few pieces that have sentimental value (gifts from family, etc.).

It kept time well over the two-week period I wore it, averaging +10 seconds per day using the WatchCheck app. It's bigger than I typically go for with my 7" wrist at 43mm, but the black dial and black bezel help it wear smaller than the specs suggest. It felt right at home on my wrist.

The watch includes a like-new matching rubber strap with green stitching and the signed Chronoswiss leather strap in good condition. The inner box is a nice lacquered wood and leather box with green outer shell. I had not heard of Chronoswiss before taking this watch, but after some internet sleuthing it seems this is a well-thought of brand and the Pacific line was well-received. It certainly looks and feels like a well-built watch on the wrist. It has a black/silver dial with a sapphire crystal presentation back showing off the Chronoswiss-dressed ETA Valjoux 7750 movement with signed Rhodium rotor. It also has the bright green chrono pusher accents for that this line is best known for. The movement is one of the most impressively decorated that I have personally owned. It's easy to get lost staring at it.

On the wrist, the watch manages to be both dressy and sporty. It will dress up jeans and a polo, and it feels right a home with a button-down shirt and jacket as well. It is a versatile piece, in my opinion. The solid construction and 10ATM water resistance allows it to go on adventures without worry.

Here are few pages on the Chronoswisss Pacific chronograph line that I turned up with a Google search. Some of the articles are older and the picture are no longer linked, but there is at least some good information on the watch and brand. None of these are my pages. They are linked for information purposes only.

  • Reference: 7582-85-B
  • Movement: Valjoux 7750
  • Diameter: 43 mm
  • Thickness: 15 mm
  • Lug width: 21 mm
  • Crystal: Sapphire with anti-reflective coating
  • Caseback: Sapphire
  • Dial: Black with applied indices and sunburst silver sub registers
  • Water resistance: 10 ATM (100 meters)

The watch is in very good condition overall. There are only two imperfections that I can see. First, the lugs have scratches from the previous owner's strap changes. Second, there is a small scratch on the side of the brushed case just below the 9 o'clock position. All marks are visible in the pictures below:

Bump with price drop to $1,500. Would really like to move this and free up funds for other things. Feel free to send offers.
