The whole of Edifice ana-digi Marine line, like most other non-US Casios, is not too readily available from a Stateside online shopper's vantage point. And the most striking Yellow/Black and Orange/Black colorways are even trickier to track down. This lineup boasts the new analog Tide indicator dial along with the familiar Moon phase display and age indicator, Thermometer, 1000-hr Stopwatch, 24-hr Countdown Timer, World Time, 5 Alarms plus a rotating timer bezel, 200m WR, lumed hand, semi-lumed hour indices and a cool-blue dial light. The affordable price could be yours as well if you went about the hunt with patience, care and finesse. What more could you ask for?

Well, much better legibility in the form of positive and backlighted digital displays and a functional lume in place of the usual botched Casio job, a lumed bezel pip and lumed second hand would've all helped to turn this into a real Diver's-plus piece.

It's still a lot of fun as is, as I hope the following unboxing shots will convey.

Hong Kong Post and USPS snail-mail services managed to deliver this crumpled envelop in just under 10 days

It's been a long time since I last saw one of these string-tie closures

Let's see how the contents fared on the long trip

All the ID you'd want: Full model designation followed by framed module number; barcode and SKU. Have no idea what that "DI" is.

The case

...Opened to reveal watch on its side

The wrapper is no match for all the yellow and black coolness showing through

Wow! Very eye-catching!

A playful and bold aura surrounds the watch

The gold of the tide-graph subdial ring

...In consort with all the yellow, black and white is reminiscent of a nighttime campfire

The band, buckle and keeper

An upside-down view

Dynamic!

The anchor shaped tail of the minute hand is in full-view when the hands are aligned

Rich, exquisitely finished brushed tops and polished sides of the case

Daylight lume shot can't compete with the beautiful light show in darkness. Stay tuned!

Same shot but with no light

The second lume shot

And that's all

...For now

Elapsed time, split time and final time are measured with 1/100-sec accuracy. The watch can measure times of up to 1000 hours.
Timer - 1/1 min. - 24 hours
For fans of precision: the countdown timers help you to remember specific or recurring events by giving off an audible signal at a preset time. The time can be set to the nearest minute and up to 24 hours in advance. Ideal for people who need to take medicines every day or those who do interval training.
5 daily alarms
The daily alarm reminds you about recurring events with an acoustic signal at the time you have set. You can also activate hourly time signal that indicates each full hour. This model has 5 independent alarms for flexible reminders of important appointments.
Snooze feature
Each time you stop the alarm, it sounds again after a few minutes.
Button tones on/off
The button tones for using the mode button can be turned off. This means that the watch no longer beeps when switching from one function to another. Preset alarm or countdown timers remain active when the button tones are deactivated.

^Thank you! I'm not sure why Casio couldn't think of including the Auto LED feature. That, would've made for highly entertaining, impromptu, instant light shows at random turns of the wrist, very much in character with this fun-looking piece.

The LED, transforms the dial by adding the nicest, most delicate shade of blue to an already cool palette of colors. Let me see if I could give you an idea of it with these shots.

Awesome photos as ever! And what a lovely piece too. Shame there's not LCD light on the digital windows, but that's a regular moan haha.

Lovely and thanks for sharing!
