Basically I don't care much about heritage (sorry!), which is the original (sorry again!), or even function (really sorry!). I've narrowed it down to two points: (1) looks; and (2) public noticeability.
On point 1, I love both, to me they've each got pros and cons. At the end of the day though I think I land on liking the date better. I feel like it just gives it an extra something, an extra pop. The only problem is this creates an issue for me in point (2) which is...
I don't want it to be really noticed! I love the watch and am into a Rolex so not exactly going monk here I know, but I do lean towards more the fly under the radar type than the other end of the spectrum. So that pushes me over to ND for point (2). UNLESS
Is there really that big of a difference in noticeability between the two? (this is my main question for this thread). And how big is that difference? Is it from instant rolex recognition for the date version to people would have no clue/think it is any other watch for the no date?
