I as the others day about why guys always wear watches in films .. lots of people said product placement . So I thought it would be fun for peps to tell there favourite watch scene in a film and why ...... just for fun
I really liked the use of the Victorinox Chrono Classic XLS MT (talk about a mouthful) in Source Code. He actually used the functions in a non-gimmicky way, which is a nice change from most product placements.
A recent Jason Statham movie featured closeups of a Mille Miglia watch (forget the brand). I liked it because its sheer obviousness gave me a chuckle. Who could miss a thirty-foot-high watch?
We can't omit... IMO the best one of all time and that is from the best film of all time - Pulp Fiction's, Captain Koons played by Christopher Walken. The watch is unidentified (old Rolex?), but none the less, an incredible scene (as is ALL of them in the movie)...!:
I don't think Doxa paid too much for this one - the orange faced dive watch is just such an integral part of the character that the producers couldn't do anything else....
