[Sekondtime]

Can you help? I have received a men's Zarya (Заря) watch from Bulgaria today which has the following wording on the watchcase back:

пьрвенец в сьревнованието за 1983 година.

It has been stamped in at the watch factory. It is not a subsequent engraving by a previous owner. I have enough Russian to undertstand the last part of "in the year 1983" but I do not recognise the rest and it defies my Russian dictionary and online translators. Is it Bulgarian, Ukranian or Belorussian?
