Just pulled the trigger on a beautiful Zenith Captain Chronograph (03.2110.400/01.C498).
I purchased it from Chrono24, where I met the seller and the watch in person. Box and warranty provided. I registered online at the official Zenith Web-site, so have my 3 years warranty. I also took a slo-mo video with my iphone and counted the amazing 10 beats per second! So it all looks good and above board.

Out of interest is there such a thing as a replica movement that beats at 36,000VpH?

Congratulations on a nice watch. I edited the original title of your thread since it gives a wrong first impression and detailed discussions on fakes here are frowned upon (so if this thread derails in that sense, I will have to close it). In principle, fakes usually involve cheap, wrong movements inside nice looking cases. I am not aware of anyone copying the El Primero absolutely 1:1 (i.e. illegally cloning it) but if they did, it would obviously beat at 36000 A/h.
