Have decided to cash in on this beauty as need funds for home improvements!!

Extremely rare, these 3 colour A386 El Primeros are very sought-after now that Zenith has modelled its New Vintage Chrono on them. This one has an original dial in superb condition for its age. You will see others occasionally, but most have non-original dials, and still fetch over £3,000 (see eBay and Antiquorum websites for examples).

This reference was produced between 1969 and 1971. The D marking on caseback and March 69 marking on Gay Freres bracelet indicate that this is a very early model.

Original Zenith 3019 PHC movement in superb condition and keeping good time. It was cleaned and given light service in August 2011 (see watchmaker's mark inside caseback). Chrono works and resets well.

Original Gay Freres bracelet, worth around £500 alone. Original crown, again not easy to find. Acrylic crystal (original Zenith) in good condition for its age. Stainless steel case 38 mm (original Zenith) no dings but some scratches; crucially, has not been over-polished (see beautiful bevelled edges). Caseback is the plain type - a few were made like this - stamped with D serial number. Hands (original Zenith) in fair condition.

£3,750 or near offer (roughly 4370 euros/$5800)

Am happy to show watch in London to interested buyers.
