My father just gave me a watch he bought many years ago and would like to find out some info on it. The face says Zenith and the movement also sn 2612397 it´s gold filled case is empress AWC Co. and the face is of a gold tone also. I mesured the movement to a 39mm I posted two pictures that may help.

I have merged your two threads - no need for redundancy. It sounds like your watch is from the mid-twenties. Some pictures to identify the movement (including exact movement diameter - they all looked fairly similar in those days) would help.
