Just back from IWW Spa.
I didn't touch the dial or hand lume… wanted to keep original.
Floating bezel assembly on wave cut spring… push down bezel
which indexes with clicks then release to desired position and
the bezel locks. Bezel insert/inlay in perfect condition.
Installed MOD/DEP soft tropical rubber for a vintage look

Re: 100% drool

Actually no real restoration on this... Jack took care of a sticky crown, then clean - oiled - and regulated the movement. Nothing else. Found this in pristine condition as is...

Nice pick-up! I have the later SSW but it has the same dial. I have the model like yours on my list. Do you know if they offered yellow instead of orange and what is the movement?

Re: 100% drool

I believe the later SSW was powered by a 2824.

Congrats on a great find. Other than the 20mm lug width, these are great watches - gotta love the PTT bezel on these old Dixi cases!

(seller's pic)

And what modern company would dare to use a black on fluorescent orange day/date wheel?!

Jack/IWW do great work and can always be counted on to do just enough/the right thing (and at a great price!)
