For its latest launch, Zelos is focusing on a GMT dive watch, and it’s another impertinent little beauty. Called simply, the Zelos Horizons GMT, it’s a sleek GMT 40mm watch with a 60-click unidirectional bezel, and a date window at 6 o’clock.
The watch is designed to command attention and deliver the correct time zone wherever in the world you may find yourself.
Zelos Horizons GMT Bronze Meteorite Launch Special
We’ve already featured some of the brand’s bestsellers including the Zelos Hammerhead, the Abyss 2, and the Mako 500m Diver, and last November we featured the Great White 1000M Bronze Meteorite.
The Zelos Horizons GMT runs on a Swiss ETA 2893 Elaboré movement, visible under a sapphire caseback. This 2893 features a custom engraved and rose gold plated rotor.
This new diver is designed to be an extremely wearable long-distance travel watch with its 40mm diameter and sleek 12mm thickness. Despite its refined size, it’s designed to be abused with a sturdy screw down crown, scratch-proof sapphire crystal and ample 200 meters of water resistance.
Note the large easy to read indices and generous use of luminous C3 strips. The GMT hand and bezel markings are painted in a bright orange or yellow color, allowing you to read it in good light or in bad and know the time at a glance.
Zelos Horizons GMT Cobalt Blue Launch Special
As with all Zelos watches, the biggest problem is in choosing which flavor you want, because every collection comes up with myriad genuinely tough temptations.
In addition to 316L stainless steel, this time around there are launch specials in CUSN8 bronze with dials in Cobalt Blue, Slate Grey, Hunter Green, or Meteorite. Each and every meteorite dial has a different pattern, otherwise known as the Widmanstatten Patterns, formed long before time was even a concept. CUSN8 is a phosphor bronze characterized as a pure alloy with an extremely low content of impurities.
These launch specials, which have a habit of selling out fast, are currently retailing at just US$649, with the Meteorite version at US$749. Buy now because the price will increase to US$849 and US$999 respectively from June 15th onward.
The watch comes in a wooden presentation box with a choice of two straps, horween leather and tropical rubber, and a complimentary watch roll. Steel Bracelets will be made available for sale separately and they will be finished in approximately 2 months.
