I do like the Gulfman somewhat more than the Mudman but I purchased four Mudmans at $80 from JC Penney and would not resist the price. Will probably give one to my brother and Ebay the other two but the Gulfman is on my list of future purchases. So far in the last month I've bought the AWG101 and these Mudmans. No regrets.

Me neither, too many circles I guess.
I don't think you'd say that if you actually held one in your hands! The pictures people take of watches are always 2 or 3 time actual size. The 5-eyed devils, the eyes are actually quite small and the watches looks stealthed.... an awesome looking watch in my most humble opinion...;-)

^ there's tons of mudman pics here https://www.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=18337

for me i'll take the gulfman. i just can't get into the new mudmans.
Haha, I realize there are tons of pictures... of both watches actually.
I was asking if anyone had side by side pictures of these watches so that we could compare them to each other. Would be really helpful in a "versus" thread such as this.

I agree. Some watches look pretty ugly in the pics, but great on your wrist...

...which is why I think the watch shops should loan you the watch for a couple of weeks to see how it 'wears', and then may be you pay for it. ;-)

I like the GW-9000 Mudman better. Though the Gulfman is nice also. I guess it is like in the case of the new Mudman. The fact that I own a original Fisherman and also an original Gulfman sadly instinctually causes me to compare watches.

Cheers

Leon
P.S get one of each because this will solve your problem of deciding :-d

For me the Gulfmen. This is my second Casio but the first G, so don't know much about the mudman. A friend of me has one and i weare it a day, but this "feels" better.

Sorry for poor English, i'm Dutch:)

Thanks.
My very first wave ceptor was a Casio, not a G. The next one was a Jubghans, cost me 345€ and is already for the second time in repair.

So i wanted a Casio again and this time a G.

When i had buy this the first time i had now more money for something else.....
Sometimes a men must learn the hard way...

Mabey a good tip:

A friend of me, over ten years a fanatic Casio-fan says:

"Trow your watch now and then in a bag or something filled with baby powder. That will keep it smoothly and nice."

Don't know if it is true but i knows when i repair my bycicle tire i do also. Even a new inner tire has some on it.

Zorro.
