Dear All,
This is the new thread for project discussion on dial colour, dial texture, and to infinity and beyond.
A reminder *not* to misuse voting threads for discussions; counting votes from 200 members who may or may not be registered is hard enough.
When new information becomes available this post will be updated.
Commenting and Campaigning:
We all have opinions and ideas about what we want out of this project. We appreciate that and even within the committee we all have different tastes. That said this is a reminder to please not beat any dead animals. If you have stated your opinion about a certain design or suggestion please do not continue to push your opinion. That also goes for campaigning or trying to influence other people's vote. We are all reading this thread and we most likely all understand your feeling. If you want something specific to happen you need to submit a design or work with someone that has the skill (if they are willing) to help you put forth your ideas. All registered members have the right to submit their designs for any phase of voting unless stated otherwise (As an example, only om-4 will be submitting further designs with regard to the dial).
Comments, suggestions and applause will still be taken from members though.

- Please remain civil with one another and with the committee. So far all of us have been doing a great job of this. If people are asking questions they should already know the answer to from past threads or posts then please either politely answer their question, or point them in the right direction, or ignore them. Many members registered late in the process and may not have the full background. Telling people it's already been answered or any of the other typical forum comments don't help, and ain't fair.
