Just scrolled through all these posts as well as I am in the midst of consolidating to 3 watches.

I may have missed your post but are you down to three as well? Or if you had to, what would they be?
I really admire folks who wear just one but I have a handful of watches with no clear favorite. I've owned an Omega since age 12 and currently have a 300 that I won't sell but rarely wear. I have a Ball Trainmaster day/date that I bought after I retired and realized I needed a day function. It has the nicest bracelet I've worn since I gave my Santos to my wife. It could easily be my one and only as could my Tutima Flieger that is currently being serviced. I love my Stowa White Flieger and my Hammy Khaki, both mechanicals. Each could be my one and only. My most recent purchase is a Damasco DS30 Ocean that I bought because of its legibility. It should be my only but won't be. I have 3 quartz watches awaiting new batteries. That may or may not happen. Thanks for your interest. How about you?

I am in the midst of consolidating down to

1 nice watch: Zenith a3817

1 diver to knock around: currently Seiko SPB143 but will probably swap out for a SPB187 because I love the blue dial and the stoplight seconds hand

1 three hander because I love three handers: Currently a Smith PRS-48 (Navigator) because I wanted a Mark XI without the cost and vintage movement. But think I'll swap this out to go back to the Murph 38mm as I miss that watch. Perfect size!

Super interesting that the Trainmaster has a better bracelet than watches that cost multiples of it eh?

It certainly surprised me. the smith looks good but I understand the attraction of the Hammy.

I was thinking about going all-in on IWC, but fear my collection would be too boring w/o the Panerai! And these 797s are getting hard to find... Only a handful of them are on sale globally on C24.

I could ditch the white dial Mark XVIII, but having only dark dials is also boring, in my opinion. It's also nice to be able to share the Mark XVIII bracelet between the (3) models.

For now, I think I'll stick with all 4 😁

My dream IWC release duo next Watches and Wonders:

1. 38mm Mark XII recreation with tritium lime and the new easx bracelet
2. 38mm Mark XI recreation with tritium lime and both bracelet and strap options

If I were a sane man, it’d be these three and only these three…
