Best places would be Wako or Dream Square in Ginza, Tokyo. Staff are amazing, huge selection of GS, possibly some very limited models.

Another favourite place is Isetan department store in Shinjuku. Again, may have store limited models available if you are lucky.

If you are looking for used to save some money you can pop over to Broadway in Nakano, but mostly you will find Swiss dominated unfortunately.

I know recently there was a AJHh model released which looks amazing ref: slga017. You may be able to find one if you check out the retailer's who are linked to AJHH. Basis Species is one off the top of my head.

Enjoy 😊

check the Japan dealer GS price on 24
you will have a idea the price range
google the city's GS AD address
GS flagship only good for JDM LE no discount only tax free
regular models specially the older models you should get some discount plus tax free @ ADs
make sure you know how to get tax free
I think the store will guide you but remember to bring your passport with you
(in the past foreigners need to show their passports to cop not sure it still enforces by cop? 🤣 )

good luck and let us know what you buy after your visit

and wear a cheap watch go there
so you can wear the GS back 🤣🤣🤣

I carry the passport usually because of tax free shopping opportunities. Over multiple visits nobody has asked to see my passport other than the airport and of course at the time of a tax free purchase.

For GS shopping, the best selection in Tokyo when buying new is at Isetan Shinjuku, Wako Ginza (so called GS flagship), and at the standalone GS boutique in Ginza close to Vacheron (it wasn’t listed on Apple Maps). Wako is a Credor paradise also. Isetan also has Credor plus Lange, RM, and other brands.

If you get a free day, take the high-speed train up to Morioka in Iwate Prefecture, where the Shinzukuishi watch factory is. Very cool. You might get to talk with some of the watch makers and see them working. Smaller than the Nagano Seiko-Epson facility and really personable for GS watch fans. They also sell some unique references there.

I looked into this and tours are booked many weeks in advance. Alas, GS is popular enough that you can’t just walk in and have a look… If you have at least a month before traveling to Japan, definitely look into booking it!

Others have suggested the main Ginza boutique options which is where I got my hi-beat limited edition. If you’re interested in vintage then Ginza Lemon is worth a visit. For mainstream models Bic Camera and Yodobashi Camera in Akihabra used to give reasonable discounts, you also used to get an additional 5% discount for using Visa. Finally Donki Ginza has watches (along with chocolate, household goods and sex toys) it has to be seen to be believed!
