I have the same one - bought in 1995 - 1996. You're right it is a squadron and you use to be able to find info on the net a few years ago but nothing now. Still has a great look!

 

I has one, I bought it around 1995 and then in 2003 I took it to sears to get the battery changed after that it stopped working and since then it has been lost. Very sad and I am still looking for one till this day.

I have one of those too, having recieved it as a gift about 15yrs ago. It still runs fine, although I don't wear it much.

 

My Chrono sticks sometimes if it hasn't ran in a while. A few good whacks on the hand and it kicks back up. Other than that, I think it's only had 1 battery replaced in all the years I've had it.

Are the newer ESQ by Movado's as reliable?

 

The new ESQ Stratus has some similarities. This is mine:

 

OK, your post made me dig mine out as I hadn't looked at it in years. Surprizingly it was still running fine and less than a minute off! It's very comfortable on this bond NATO.

I believe ESQ is a division of Movado.
