Are Rolex oyster bracelet links between different models interchangeable?

Question as the title says. For different Rolex models with 20mm oyster bracelets, say a 116610 and a 214270, can their bracelet links interchange or are links made specifically for each model? Thanks.

Resurrecting an old thread for a riff on the topic: I am about to buy an excellent-condition Oyster Perpetual Date 1500, from 1968/69m on the rivet oyster bracelet, also in not-too-stretched condition. Length measures just at my comfort zone of 7.1 inches. I’d like to add a link. At the risk of disclosing the pure originality is less important to me than wearability and maybe saving a little scratch after spending a bunch on watches lately..... are links from other Oyster bracelets compatible, e.g. Modern solid extra links (and even - yes, I’m saying it - aftermarket links)? That is, can I add a solid or folded extra link to my riveted bracelet? And is it true that all Rolex Oyster clasps are the same width? Thanks in advance, and all best.
