Assuming it works, why on earth would you want to throw it away? If it isn't something that you don't want to wear anymore then give it to a charity shop, pass it on to a friend or young relative, or just stick it on Ebay as an auction starting at £0.99p/99 cents. Absolutely no need at all to ever throw away a working watch.

And if you really don't know if it works then take it to your local battery change guy and see if a new cell makes it work.

i did not really mean "throw away" but more "get rid off",just wanted to know if it could be worth anything for someone or not and as i am new i didnt dare to put it in the sales topic with a fixed price.
offcourse it is working,it been resting for more then 20 years,it should be ready to go

 

Like I say, if you want to know the value of something just stick it on Ebay in an auction with a minimal start price, it will find its natural value. Which isn't likely to be a great deal, but at least it's something. Sell it and use the money towards something you do like rather than just having it sitting there unloved and unworn for decade after decade.

 

I'd keep it. My first watch was a Benetton Bulova with a globe dial. Loved it.

 

You should give away or sell only if you are not going to wear the watch.

If you are asking indirectly if it has any value, I think it would be nominal.

 

Give it to someone less fortunate. Im sure it'll fetch a few bucks for your local Goodwill/Salvation Army or whatever organizations are near you. I doubt it'll be worth the hassle posting on ebay and shipping it but you could try.
