Bracelet fitting or replacing on a Seiko 5 SNK (in summary- poor man's Seiko SARB)

Further to my search after the poor man's Seiko SARB, I put my eyes on these beauties (pictures are from the web and from Amazon):

One thing bothers me: I would like to replace the original bracelet of course, after purchasing one of them, but I noticed that the bracelet is attached to the watch's body on a narrow end (the only one that has "normal" joints on its case is the green snke59k1).
1. Is it possible to find AM bracelets and leather straps for such unique joints?
2. What do you think about these watches?
3. How is the brown dial in reality?
Thank you - Michael.

The long answer is that is possible to find aftermarket parts for watches with "integrated" bracelets, but it isn't easy. I recently ordered a NOS one on eBay, but getting the seller to give me all the measurements still doesn't reassure me that it will fit properly once it arrives... we'll see. At least it is a Seiko bracelet and has the right end pieces for an integrated fit.

I've also seen some rubber ones with the right shape on eBay, but not leather ones. Another WUS member posted a pic of a leather strap that he notched to fit and it looked quite good. Someone else posted about finding a nice Seiko bracelet that would fit, but that it was a permanent alteration because once attached they could no longer access the spring bars.

The short answer is, don't buy a watch with an integrated bracelet if you want to be able to swap it easily or have a large selection of aftermarket options.

Of the watches you posted, I like the simplicity of the snka05k and its blue dial. For ease of bracelet swapping, your only option is the green snke59k1.

Can I suggest the seiko snx123 ? It has lugs which allow you to swap the band with leather straps that appeal to you. I personally stay away from watches that have intergrated bracelets as I tend to swap bands regularly.

I agree to use snx123, great with leather and great with oyster.
Here with solid oyster and hollow end links (yet to be filed to match better the lugs contour, they'll fit perfectly after simple filing)
