I am curious to what we owners see in the accuracy of our Breitlings...mine (just serviced) only loses about 1 second a day.
What are you seeing?!

My new SOH II 44mm had to go in for a service visit after only 10 days. It was gaining 2-3 seconds per minute! It had settled down from a 5 second per minute gain when it was first new. It arrived there on Wednesday morning. Hoping it comes back running as well as my 6 others, all of which are within a second or two per day.

In my experience, pre-owned Breitlings out of warranty with the constraints of being 10 yrs old max keep 8-12s/d +/-. Some do keep better time, and others keep worse time. My personal Chronomat Blackbird is keeping -2s/d. The ETA / Valjioux based movements are the most reliable, I have not had the greatest luck with the in-house but do like the fact it's covered by the 5 yr warranty rather than 2 yrs. With that being said, I'll never pass on an in-house for those reasons. I still buy them, and I still like them. I do think the in-house is more authentically Breitling, and the movements are certainly more decorated in my opinion than the older ETA / Valjioux based movements.

The in-house is more costly to service and more difficult by independent watchmakers I've found. Like I said, I still buy them.

I got my new SOH about 2 weeks ago and it’s gaining stable +6 seconds a day. Not very happy with it even if it’s in specs. So in 2 weeks no difference. My IWC 8 days running -3 seconds in 6 months and it’s not a chronometer. I never seen any differences like setting period in any of my watches, so going to return it…

I've always given them 4 - 6 weeks of wear to "settle in". Then, if I'm still not happy with the performance but it's within COSC spec, I send it in to Breitling USA and request a "fine timing adjustment". They've always met my needs and expectations.

Breitling seems to have a quality issue.
My factory-new Navitimer with a B 01 runs statically in the five positions on average exactely +6 s/d.
On the wrist the watch reaches up to +7 s/d.
My wife's 2 weeks old SO 36 with the B 17 runs currently at -6 s/d getting slower and slower. Quite typical for
ETA 2824-2 what it is in essence. Very disappointing. She will wear it for another months before we
will bring it in for regulation.
Her Navitimer 35 is OK at +5 s/d statically and +4 s/d worn.

My new Tudor is the benchmark at +1 s. Per week not day. Statically and dynamically.

Bought my Superocean Heritage 42 on the 25th of May.
I gave it a few days to settle in and let the reserve run down before giving it a full wind but it still ran +12 seconds per day.
Sent it back to the AD who said the watch is fine so I accepted it back.
But it's no different so it'll be going back again.
TBH I had expected more from Breitling
Both my Tudors are accurate so I thought this would be the same given it has a Tudor movement
