Summary:
The A159WA bracelet pulls far LESS hair than the A158 or the older A159W with a fold-over clasp.

A159W-N1DF: Jubilee-style bracelet with conventional fold-over clasp
-Pulled a lot of hair
-Might be out of production; I bought New Old Stock
-About $40

A159WA-N1DF: Jubilee-style bracelet with "Casio-style" adjustable clasp
-Pulls the least amount of hair
-Most comfortable
-About $30

A158WA-1DF: Oyster-style bracelet with "Casio-style" adjustable clasp
-Pulled a lot of hair
-About $20

Note: The A159 seems to be made solely in Japan.

Bringing up an old thread - so, I’ve been really into these Casio A159 watches. I really wanted the newer style Casio A159-WA style bracelet, not the old style “clasp” bracelet version of this watch.

Amazon currently has 2 different A159 versions. The WA version and the standard W version. Apparently - both of these watches are shipped with the “older style” full scissor size clasp, even though the box is labeled as “A159-WA”. So - I ended up sending both watches back.

The older style scissor style bracelet was probably THE most uncomfortable bracelet as far as pulling arm hairs that I have ever had. And that comes from someone who wears an A168 fairly frequently.

So - the search continues for an A159 with the 158/168 style clasp.
