Casio W800H and NATO straps: Are they truly compatible?

Hello, forum. My name is Martin Williams, from North Wales in the UK, and this is my first post.

I've learned a lot from this place and its lovely inhabitants lately.

One thing that intrigued me was the deployment of the one-piece NATO strap on cheap Casios. Some seem to have done it easily and others demur and say it's impossible. I just about managed it on a F91-W a while ago, but it was very difficult. And of course the watch has to be in the right place because it won't shift, once, with Herculean concentration, you've squeezed the pins back in over the strap.

Based on this board's recommendations, I've bought a W800H, and I'm hoping I can get a NATO in there.

Is it doable?

TIA.

I don’t own a W800, but looking at its lugs I’m really sure putting a nato strap on it is very doable. However to be honest, I’m not sure that I’d like how it looks. In my opinion, most Casio watches (especially standard Casio’s) look best with their stock straps.

Ancient thread, but for anyone wondering, a NATO on a Casio w-800h is possible. I used a super cheap (and thin) 18mm nato and melted the underside of the strap, making it squeeze through the gap between each lug. Don’t have a picture but definitely worth doing, look for the cheapest strap you can find
