Christopher Ward just released a 36 mm version of the Sealander. Completely in line with the latest trend, they also released some limited edition coloured dials. Could be an alternative if you missed the Sinn 556 LE versions.

I'm not sure if 20 mm is the right strap size for this watch. Other than that, I think they look good.

For me however, there is one big drawback. The 36 mm white dial doesn't have any orange elements anymore. Why CW! Such a shame. Otherwise I would have bought it in a heartbeat. I guess, I have to try the 39 mm now.

I know they make great watches, but it still has all the things that have stopped me from getting a CW in the past - that hour hand, and the Trident counter-balance on the second hand. I do wish they would have done away with the crown guards but that's not a deal breaker. I love the size! I applaud them for making a 36mm and hope they sell a bunch.

I like the size (interestingly, the 36mm is priced a bit higher than the 39, not keen on that). The color choices feel a bit "me too" at this point. Would have been more interesting if they'd done something more than just lacquer bright colors. Maybe add some texture. Giving them the Ombre treatment similar to the green 39mm might have been interesting. Particularly the red. Not sure how well it would work on the yellow. Or maybe some vertical brushing?

Love the fun colours! Also love the absence of the brand name on the dial though I am not so sure the logo looks any better. No issue with the size though. However, I have to be mindful of my spending on watches so I will be missing this piece of action. Good luck to those who are keen on snagging one! :)

They're nice looking watches and I definitely like the 36mm size. As others have said, they are a bit "Me too" in their design. (And I also don't like the trident counter-balance). Maybe a couple of hundred Euros more than they ought to be if they want to compete in this ever-more-crowded field of 40mm-and-under, GADA three-handers. For example I keep looking at the Citizen NB1050-59x which is available at less than half the price (and competitive with the discontinued SARB033/5). But certainly these are nice looking watches and I'm sure they will appeal to many people.

Aren't Rolex 36mm on a 20mm bracelet? In any case, I too miss the orange and red highlights on the white and black dials. And I'm happy enough--which for the record is very, very happy--with the 39mm. I may even prefer spelling out Christopher Ward. The new logo looks like a game of tetrus gone wrong.

Wow, good to see these in 36mm. Tempting, but there are now too many other choices in this style and size. A year or two ago, I might have been all, "Take my money!" Now, not so much - there are other brands playing in this size range with models I prefer to these. I do wish that the red or yellow were more toward orange, like bittersweet or Jeep Wrangler Dozer / Ford Mustang Cyber Orange. And sunray blue, sunray green. But maybe those at least will make an appearance, at some point.

Even with the color versions, these all seem a bit conservative...

If if they could do these in a bronze case...?

Maybe you can pick up a used one of these (or a new one, if/when they release a new batch).

I agree; these are too monochrome for me. I'll probably end up with the white C63 GMT instead.
