Do Timex still use the V-conic escarpment in their reissued mechanical watches?

This is my disappointment with Timex. They don't need to produce cheap watches, consumers will buy if they step up to better quality.

Timex mechanical movements these days are not made by Timex. They source common catalog movements from Sea-gull and/or Miyota.

V-conic was a low-cost method to achieve shock resistance in lieu of a shock absorber like Incabloc. The mechanical movements used by Timex today utilize shock absorbers for the balance.
