Dive bezels are for timing minutes, not seconds, but you're right, no one needs half a minute timing on a dive.

Now you're going to make me get the watch out.

Holy cats, the bezel was frozen. Needed a quick clean up to confirm bezel action, but the watch hasn't been worn in years. Going to have pop it off and really get after it I suppose.

It has two clicks between markers, then one click. Repeats infinitum. It's weird and I recall the issue coming up when the watch came out. There were only 300 of them and as far as I know the watch was never reintroduced.
