Same here, although I mostly use mine as my alarm clock. Turns out that tapping my wrist works better than a noisy desk clock to wake me up.
Before that, I started wearing my watches to bed when I noticed that I could see their lume at zero-dark-early in the morning. It helped me see what time it really was, because I'm so nearsighted that I can't see a bedside clock, and I had a tendency to hit snooze too many times (or just switch off the alarm completely by mistake).
