Hi all,
So, I have been in love with this piece since it was announced. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, it’s a limited edition of 50 pieces and only being sold at physical Seddiqi & Sons boutiques.

If this is the case, what do you think is the probability of one popping up for sale on the secondary market, and at what premium? I know it would only be speculation, but I have no experience trying to hunt down such a rare limited edition, especially given Doxa’s popularity.

Any info or former experience with Doxa limited editions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Initially, not a chance. Within a week you’ll see one posted on chrono24 or EBay for 4x retail. Wait another year and then you’ll find a preowned at a reasonable price. lol. Not sure but that seems how it usually goes.

I would at least reach out to the botique. It never hurts. I got lucky and my AD received two of the original ceramic army Doxa. She offered my buddy and me one. I took it! The only reason she reached out was because they new I like Doxa

Take a vacation to Dubai and pick one up. Great time of year for the weather and these can found. Here is one where the asking price is $3200. People always ask high amounts on Dubizzle (the UAE's version of craigslist). You can offer less but I am sure they'd want to do it in person.

Two of my friends and I are looking to get three of these for fun. They do look a bit different in real life compared to the marketing pics. I’m tossing up between two colours, one mate is going for the orange one and the last guy is currently undecided. Hope the photo helps…

The bigger issue is the black outlined midget hour hand on the single coloured variants - I know Doxa’s notion that divers only care about how many minutes have passed but it’s really quite a struggle to read the hour hand at a quick glance… annoying.

They do absolutely nothing for me but if anyone’s interested they’re showing as in stock, although it looks like just one of each colour in the UK on the Jura site
